Aspects of the game itself (like Constant Effect enchantment by the player character) demand some things that would seem at first to be exploits. If an NPC is hostile, you can use Calm Humanoid (use Fortify Illusion first, if necessary), then the above techniques. Note that this trick only works for those born under the Atronach.
Do the "Restore health, magicka or fatigue" codes listed below, but before your meter completely fills up press and hold the the B button.
But if you enter any other page in your menu, the chosen statistic will cease to constantly replenish. So long as you do not take a hit hard enough to kill you or several quick shots, you may enter the stats page and not press anything and simply watch your health auto replenish without taking more shots.
